FAQ
Cost? Timing? HOA rules?
The questions people usually ask first. Where a detail isn’t settled yet, the answer says so.
What does a season with Lloyd include?
The service covers the whole arc: design, installation, in-season care, takedown, and optional storage. Your written quote spells out exactly which of those your project includes.
Do you provide the lights?
That is still being finalized. The quote will say plainly whether materials are supplied or chosen another way, before anything is scheduled.
What does it cost?
It depends on the property: tree size and height, access, how many signs, lines, and trees, and the look you want. Pricing is quoted per property rather than published as a menu.
When should I reach out?
Late September through October is the planned window for booking and site visits. Later requests are welcome; Lloyd will tell you honestly what dates remain. See the season page for the full calendar.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Yes. Most of the work is for HOA entrances and community common areas. Bring your community’s guidelines and any approval steps to the site visit, and the plan is built around them.
Do you light private homes too?
Yes. Homeowners can book as well. The same design-first approach applies, scaled to the house.
What if my HOA has rules about holiday lights?
Bring them to the site visit. The design can be planned around them, but approval from your community is still your call to confirm.
What happens if a strand goes out, or it rains?
In-season care is proposed. Coverage and response arrangements remain pending confirmation and should be set out in your quote.
When do the lights come down?
The proposed takedown window is early January through early February. Dates and scheduling arrangements remain pending confirmation.
Where do you work?
Orange County, California is the proposed service area. Coverage and a specific city list are still pending confirmation.
Are the gallery photos real projects?
Yes. Every photo in the gallery is a real installation from the 2024 season, mostly community entrances and a few commercial sites.
