1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Custom Christmas Lighting website and, after this demo becomes operational, requests for temporary seasonal lighting services. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
The current website is a demonstration. Its quote form validates entries only in your browser. It does not transmit a request, create a customer relationship, reserve an installation date, or form a service contract.
2. Business information
The service provider will be identified before launch as [legal business name and entity type], doing business as Custom Christmas Lighting, with a mailing address at [business mailing address]. References to “Custom Christmas Lighting,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that business.
3. Website and service information
The website describes temporary holiday-lighting services for community, commercial, and residential properties in Orange County, California. Service areas, availability, materials, design, installation, maintenance, takedown, storage, timing, and pricing remain subject to a written quote or service agreement accepted by both parties.
Website descriptions are general information, not a binding offer. Project photos show past installations and do not promise a specific result for your property.
4. Quote requests and service agreements
When a working quote form is added, you agree to provide accurate and current information. A submitted request will not guarantee availability or create an agreement. Work begins only after the parties accept a separate written quote or service agreement that identifies the property, scope, price, schedule, payment terms, and any project-specific conditions.
If a written quote or service agreement conflicts with these website terms, the signed project document controls for that project.
5. Property access and customer responsibilities
Any final service agreement may require the customer to confirm authority to approve work at the property, disclose known access or safety concerns, provide agreed access, keep work areas reasonably clear, and obtain any approval required from an owner, landlord, or homeowners association. Exact responsibilities must appear in the project agreement before service begins.
6. Pricing and payment
This demo does not publish prices or collect payments. Future prices, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation terms, late fees, refunds, and payment methods must be stated in the written quote or service agreement. The website will identify any third-party payment processor before online payments are enabled.
7. Intellectual property
The website’s design, copy, graphics, and other original content are owned by Custom Christmas Lighting or used with permission, subject to applicable law. You may view and print website content for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, modify, or distribute substantial website content without written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a way that impairs service, impersonate another person, or use it for unlawful activity.
9. Third-party services and links
The website is hosted by a third-party platform. Future versions may link to or use other providers for communications, scheduling, payments, analytics, or social media. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites we do not control.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties concerning the website, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. These website disclaimers do not replace any express warranty included in a signed service agreement and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Custom Christmas Lighting will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website. Any liability terms for lighting services must be stated in the applicable service agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply.
12. Changes and termination
We may update or discontinue the website and may revise these terms. The revised terms will display a new effective date. Continued website use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Terms in an already accepted project agreement remain governed by that agreement.
13. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before launch, qualified counsel should confirm the governing-law language and add any appropriate venue or dispute-resolution terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to Lloyd.customchristmas@gmail.com or [business mailing address].
